"Time Gal & Ninja Hayate" is a compilation released for the Sega Saturn in 1996, featuring two classic laser-disc-based arcade games from the 1980s: "Time Gal" and "Ninja Hayate." Both games are animated interactive movies where the player must quickly input commands corresponding to on-screen prompts to progress through animated sequences. In "Time Gal," players take on the role of Reika, a time-traveling heroine who jumps across various eras, from the prehistoric past to the far future, to stop a criminal from altering history. "Ninja Hayate" tells the tale of Hayate, a young ninja on a perilous journey to rescue his kidnapped beloved Princess from the clutches of an evil sorcerer.
