Description

"Space Invaders" for the Nintendo 64, released in 1999, offered a fresh take on the classic arcade game first introduced by Taito in 1978. This revamped version brought the iconic alien-blasting action into the realm of 3D graphics while preserving the essential gameplay that made the original a cornerstone of the video game revolution. In this iteration, players controlled a laser cannon, moving it horizontally across the bottom of the screen to shoot descending rows of aliens.
