Description

Black Belt, released for the Sega Master System in 1986, is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up game that puts players in the role of Riki, a martial artist on a mission to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend, Kyoko, from the clutches of an evil gang. Players battle through multiple stages, defeating waves of enemies and powerful bosses, each with unique fighting styles.

The game is notable for its fast-paced action, responsive controls, and striking visuals for its time. Originally based on the anime Fist of the North Star in Japan, the localization removed the anime references while retaining its intense gameplay, making Black Belt a standout title in the Master System library.
